Underwater world, Maldives

Maldives, which is in the middle of the Indian Ocean, is a nation of coral islands of more than 1200, generally divided into "atolls". There are 26 natural atolls in the Maldives, most of them uninhabited, with the greatest concentration of resorts on Malé (Kaafu) Atoll, and a few others about Vaavu, Baa and Lhaviyani. Alifu (Ari) Atoll was declared a new Tourism Zone of the Maldives, and the area has undergone recent construction to improve and build new stations for its thriving tourism industry.

Only about 200 of these islands are inhabited, with the majority of the population living in the Maldives Malé, the capital of Maldives. A few trendy restaurants, hotels, transit can be found here, but there is no alcohol and little recourse for hedonistic masses arriving every week.

Instead, the tourists head straight for the exclusive island resorts are found on islands across the country, with many luxuries and services to compete for the attention of a beautiful underwater world is transparent. Maldives holidays are quiet and private, long lazy days soaking up the sun meets, swimming, sunset drinks and the gentle rhythm of the waves blend into the local music playlists. Maldives deserve attention for those seeking a unique holiday indulgence, spectacular scenery and the sheer luxury that will stay with you long after the holiday is over.
