Diving is superb in Malaysia
his Vietnamese Wreck is also known as the Pasir Tani wreck, and is a very popular dive site in Perhentians Islands. The ship sunk around 1976 and lays now on a sandy bottom at 22 m deep. It is possible to penetrate and swim through the wreck. The current can sometimes become strong and the visibility is not so good. The shipwreck is full of corals and gorgonians with many small fishes and invertebrates hiding. Most of the time, it is possible to see great barracudas and sometimes a leopard shark. Around the dive site, there is a lot of debris with scorpiofish, stonefish, nudibranchs and so on. It is better to dive there with a good torch!.
