He is the spouse of Vishnu and married Rama (in her incarnation as Sita) and Krishna (as Rukmini and Radha later). All the wives of Krishna were the forms of Lakshmi.
Durga Puja in Bengal, Lakshmi is considered a sister, daughter Durga, Saraswati and his brother, Ganesha and Karthikeyan.
